Estonia’s Singing Revolution

a documentary film by Mountain View Productions, Ltd.

NEWS FROM JIM AND MAUREEN TUSTY:

The film received a TEN MINUTE standing ovation at The Black Nights Film Festival on December 1.  Such a response is very unusual in Estonia.

The U.S.-Baltic Foundation proudly supports “Estonia’s Singing Revolution” by Mountain View Productions, Ltd.  The compelling 90-minute film documents Estonia’s drive to independence through non-violent actions.  The demonstrations, speeches, parliamentary action and -- above all -- the voice of the Estonian people in song ultimately contributed to the fall of the Soviet Union.  “Estonia’s Singing Revolution” is an inspirational film to generate awareness and educate American and international audiences about the people and events that formed this historic revolution.

USBF has established a special account to accept contributions for “Estonia’s Singing Revolution.”  Contributions are tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law.  To contribute, send your check -- payable to the U.S.-Baltic Foundation, with a memo “Estonia’s Singing Revolution” – to:
