Thanks for your support! Last weekend, The Singing Revolution was the #9 movie in the country on a per screen basis! Even on a gross basis, we were #58...not bad considering our one-screen film was competing with movies on 3,500 screens across the U.S.
Due to this fantastic response, Village East City Cinemas has held over The Singing Revolution for 5 more days!!! The theater is located at 181 2nd Avenue, New York, NY 10003 and the movie plays there through Tuesday, December 25th. The showtime is 11:00AM ONLY from Dec. 21st - 25th. Today (Thursday), it plays at 1PM, 3PM, 5PM, 7PM, and 9PM.
Theaters rarely give more time to a documentary film like this, especially during the holiday season when there's an influx of great movies. The New York Times and The Hollywood Reporter gave the movie very favorable reviews. The Times alludes to "Casablanca."

NOW IT’S FINALLY HAPPENING!! The Singing Revolution is opening in theaters for all to see!
"The Singing Revolution" - Opening in NYC & LA - More cities to come!
The Singing Revolution will be opening in theaters from December 7th–13th in Los Angeles and December 14th–20th in New York City. The film will open in other cities across the U.S. starting in January.
It is critical that we fill the theaters these first two weeks. A successful run in NY and LA will make a big difference in releasing the film in other cities across North America. Come and bring friends if you can, call your friends in those cities and encourage them to go, and help spread the word.
