Saakashvili: Estonia is the most successful model for a transition society

TALLINN, February 5 (LETA) - President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili stated that for Georgia, Estonia is the most successful model of a transition society, writes EPL Online.

"We want to follow this experience. Georgia has already achieved a lot," said Saakashvili at the meeting with Prime Minister Andrus Ansip.

Saakashvili stated that the course Georgia has chosen is the right one. Ansip in turn pledged that Estonia will continue supporting Georgia's aspirations towards the European Union and NATO.

Saakashvili said that for the country practical steps are important - such as free trade and facilitated Schengen visa procedures to citizens of Georgia similarly to Moldova, Ukraine and Russia.
