WASHINGTON, DC – The U.S.- Baltic Foundation hosted its ninth annual U.S.- Baltic Gala on Saturday, May 8 at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington, DC.  Lithuanian Prime Minister Andrius Kubilius received the Foundation’s Baltic Statesmanship Award, and delivered the Keynote Address to over 240 people who attended.  For the second consecutive year, the WUSA 9 NewsNow anchor Anita Brikman served as Master of Ceremonies for the evening.  Other speakers at the dinner included USBF Chairwoman Maria Kivisild Ogrydziak, former U.S. Ambassador to Lithuania John Cloud, and Michael Strautmanis, of the White House Office of Public Liaison.
