Kojelis Family Fund
The Kojelis Family Fund was created in 2005 as the first donor advised fund in USBF’s history. The charitable gift of $250,000 from Elena and Juozas Kojelis, Lithuanian-American immigrants and the parents of USBF Co-Founder Linas Kojelis, is the largest private donation in USBF’s history. Investment proceeds from the Kojelis Family Fund are used to make grants and scholarships to students in Lithuania who are dedicated to careers in education, public affairs and public service and committed to the principles of honest, ethical government. The grants are given out annually.
