As in years past, Lithuania participates in the event of the GRANDE FETE DE LA FRANCOPHONIE! The attendees could sample Lithuanian cuisine along with food and beverages from other countries.
The Francophonie is an organization of more than 50 member states and governments which celebrates the French language and the countries where it is spoken, is an important forum for discussions of cultural and linguistic diversity. Lithuania has been invited as an observer of Francophonie in 1999.
