U.S.-Baltic Foundation

Educational Center

The U.S.- Baltic Foundation is an educational entity that seeks to raise awareness about relevant issues affecting U.S.- Baltic relations.  The USBF provides members of Congress, the Administration, NGO’s and the general public a forum for debate and discussion on important issues.

The Ambassador Council Speakers Series hosts public affairs events and programs featuring prominent government and private sector leaders from the Baltics and the U.S.  The series encourages greater integration, cooperation and investment, as well as provides an opportunity for USBF supporters to meet Ambassadors Council members, Administration and Congressional officials, businesspeople and Baltic government and business representatives.

The Kojelis Family Fund was created in 2005 as the first donor advised fund in USBF’s history.  The charitable gift of $250,000 from Elena and Juozas Kojelis, Lithuanian-American immigrants and the parents of USBF Co-Founder Linas Kojelis, is the largest private donation in USBF’s history.  Investment proceeds from the Kojelis Family Fund are used to make grants and scholarships to students in Lithuania who are dedicated to careers in education, public affairs and public service and committed to the principles of honest, ethical government.  The grants are given out annually.
